Got approved 2 days ago 12/27 (checked online case status tool). Make sure to check both receipt numbers, as my deferred action has not yet been approved (only work permit). ELIS is still behind on the update and I did not receive an email or text notice this time.

Thanks for the update. I know had been waiting for awhile too, but I can't remember when you sent yours in. Did you just see it today?

Mine wasn't as bad as others but I did send relatively late and so jeopardized my job. Yeah, just saw it today

Received: 8/11/2016
Expired: 10/24/2016
Bio: 9/01/2016 Walked in: 8/19/2016
EAD approved/in production: 12/27/2016 DACA: TBD

Total: 141 days +/- 10-15 until permit received

So roughly 5 months.

All attempts at expediting seemed to be in vain (Explained situation in letter along w/application, case elevation, in person appt, congressman, ombudsman, multiple calls, etc...). Maybe one of these finally helped out, but it didn't shave any time off the usual ~4 month average process.

Sent my renewal on November 21st. Just got my EAD card in the mail today. Expires on 04/2019

Finally received my card today.
So here's the final timeline.

Received: 06/17/2016
Fingerprints: 07/06/2016
EAD approval: 12/21/2016
DACA approval: 12/22/2016
Received card: 12/29/2016

So 6 months and 12 days.
Glad this is over. Now time to go back to work.

Did you get yours for 2 yrs after approval or expiration date + 2yrs? I ask because they're doing expiration + 2 yrs for most now, but if your approval was after expiration, it wouldn't be fair.

Got approved in less than a week after biometrics !
