I expired in June 2016 and I got approved December 24. My new card is valid from the date of approval so December 24, 2016 to December 2018. Hope that helps.

I'm still waiting. 230 days since it was received. I submitted another service request for outside normal processing times. I received a response on Dec 23rd that it was " still pending adjudication because my case required additional review, sorry for the delay " . My case is as simple as can be and just a renewal....

I plan on calling in tomorrow morning again. I was also hoping to get this over with prior to inauguration .

Hopefully we get this figured out.

Anyone else from late May June still waiting ???

Hello!

I'm new here, so I hope I'm not posting a question that's already been answered....

First, I'm glad to be among those going through the same.

My DACA expires July 15, 2017. With so much talk about DACA being the first thing to go when Trump takes office, I'm worried that applying in February (the earliest day to renew based on USCIS recommendations) would be risky.

But I've also read that applying any sooner than 150 days before expiration can lead to your application getting kicked back and the fees paid would not be returned.

My attorney is saying to apply now. But I'm a bit skeptical. I simply could not afford for the paperwork to be sent back and having to pay twice for not just the app fee but the attorney's fee.

That's upwards of $1,200 total, with just a one month difference.

For those with DACA expiring later this year, are you applying early? Also, have you hired an attorney to process your renewals or are you just doing it yourself?

Thanks so much for all your help...

Hi Jessie! My card expires on May 15th and I applied for a renewal on November 10th (more than two months ago) and it was accepted and currently being processed. I've seen several posts of people successfully submitting their renewals before the 150 day recommendation, so I don't think that should be a concern for you.

I'm not sure what's the future of DACA if Trump does revoke the program day 1 on January 20th. If that means all the applications stop being processed completely or if it will stop taking new applications and process the ones in the current pool only. In my situation, I decided to apply because the chance of having an EAD for two more years was worth the money.
