So I was out of state for almost a month and got home today and saw I got 2 letters, one that said they have received my renewal application and another that says the next step is to wait for USCIS to schedule my biometrics. Does this mean I've been accepted and now I just have to wait for the biometrics letter? Can't find a date on the letters so don't know if they were both sent at the same time or not.

On DACA renewal page it specifically states that:

Do not submit any additional documents at the time you request renewal unless:

You have new documents involving removal proceedings or criminal history that you did not already submit to USCIS in a previously approved DACA request.

I didn't know that, but when I first applied I included my arrest documents, for my renewal I didn't and they sent me a RFE asking for them.

What documents did you send in for RFE?

Just the court papers saying my case was dismissed.

It's almost satisfying to me that I have confirmation of my application being returned. What's really annoying is the vague language that they include. Why not just come out and say, "Hey, ass, you shorted me $30.00!" And on top of that, they included that my form was out of date when I'm checking now and the form is current until Feb 21st(for I765). Ugh!

In that case, you just send them what they specifically ask for.

Yeah think of those letters as your receipt, eventually you will get a third letter with two UPC's with an appointment date at a USCIS field office, that is your biometrics. Keep your fingers clean with no cuts or else you will be rescheduled. You cannot be approved until you've done biometrics in which once you do get approved you will get another set of letters but this time in a fancy green paper that has a watermark, those are you approval letters and a separate letter with a usps tracking label will have your EAD.

It's just kinda concerning, no one has been accepted since the 20th.

I hope everything positive that we heard so far is for the greater good !

Renewal Sent: 11/25/2016

Bio appt sent: 12/9/2016
Bio appt:12/29/2016 (Done in a different state because of the holidays)

My permit expires in April. If it isn't a typo online it is safe to assume that at least for now they are still processing applications as normal.
