hey your screen name seems so familiar i think I remember you from the beginning 2012, I also sent and got a receipt on 10/23/2016 bio on 11/14 approved on 01/26/2017 the only reason I got approved is because I called the congress person and she helped me out I actually bug the crap out of her first she emailed the Nebraska service center and got the generic e-mail at least I thought it was and than I made her call them and got approved that day after she made that phone call. why don't you at least reach out to your congress person regardless if the are dem or rep I live in houston and they are all rep but I didn't care they are there to help the public

I mailed my package on 11/20 and am still waiting to hear back on a decision on my renewal. biometrics were done early december. i fortunately have til mid april but InfamousKnight you should definitely reach out to your congress person and have them call USCIS. USCIS has a whole department/ office that deals with inquires from congresspersons so it's not like they would be inconvenienced.

I don't understand why there would be any hold up on renewals.

Can someone explain why that is?

Same here still waiting did bios last week of November and nothing since my apps are in Nebraska.

Thanks for your advice. I actually did reach out to 1 of them today, and will try to reach one more during the weekend. I need it before it expires or else I'm out of a job.

I was here during the beginning of the program, drop by now and then on certain topics that I can add my opinion to or help with.

Same, did my bios December 9th- still nothing. Was really hopeful that they would get to it quickly as a lot of people have been getting a quick turnaround, just seems like its a really random process. You either get approved within a month and a half or could be waiting forever!

A friend did his a week before and got accepted at the end of December 2016 lol and it was routed to Nebraska also. So the process is definitely random. I just hope my turn is soon.

I sent my renewal package on January 27th so it has been two full weeks. Still haven't got anything. No text msg notification, nothing......
