That is very weird but not out of the ordinary. I've seen a few people that were approved the day after Biometrics.
Your record must have come back squeaky clean and super fast that they prob still had your file near the top of a pile lol.

Congrats man!

Edit: I was approved yesterday, my I-765 says card being produced while the Form I-821D says it is being processed. That happened last time for me too, usually gets updated within a day or so.

Maybe the ones that get processed very quickly have nothing on their background and the ones that wait a bit may have something? Like, there's an additional verification step that requires a person from USCIS to look into their file?

I have yet to receive my EAD card. The card initially went into production on Dec 12th as per USCIS case status, and after giving them a call again, the card production date changed from Dec 12th to Jan 30th. Has this happen to anyone yet?

I have called the USCIS numerous times and they escalated the issue with an Officer/Agent. The problem is I have never received a call back from an agent yet. It's been well over 7 months now since i've applied for a renewal. The case was approved but the production of card has been the same for the past 3 months.

What should i do??

Note: I'm currently on an expired EAD

That is messed up!

Go to your congressman's office and have them contact USCIS.

not really true. I have absolutely nothing on my record. nothing at all. I guess it's just the luck of the draw. and some of us get stuck with super slow processors.
