With all your respect this is the stupidest question ever asked here you may want to consult a lawyer

I have a question for the group. My sister's DACA and I-765 were approved a month ago. we received the I-821D in the mail but haven't received the EAD. i called USCIS two weeks ago and were told it hasnt been sent to production and call after 4/21. i called again today and was informed again that it hasnt been send to production yet and all they can do is open an inquiry which can take up to 30 days to respond. any one know what else we can do in the meantime? we needs to renew her I-9 soon and her employers need the EAD card.

thanks!

First time posting today...
My application was received March 29th, did my biometrics
April 22nd. Checked online Monday just for the giggles, didn't actually
Think it would be approved so quick BUT I'm happy to say
My EAD was approved and sent to production!!! But yet
My deferred hadn't been approved up until today!
I didn't receive any emails or texts with updates, which I thought was a bit weird
My whole process has been less than a month total.
I'll be back to let you guys know when the card arrives as well as the letters.
Good luck everyone!

Long time lurker, first time posting. My sister and I sent our apps the same day and were received March 17. Did walk in bio March 31. My sister was approved April 3 and got her EAD on the 14th. My case, however has not moved from "received your application". It really is just a matter of luck it seems. :/ Worst thing is that we sent them late and my card expires May 6. Crossing my fingers and toes and hoping for a miracle.

Really? How strange.... my renewal has never been this quick
I was actually pretty shocked how quick it was!
I wonder if it has to do with the state you live in...

So this is my first time posting I'm literally in fear.

Case Recieved 12/13/2016
Bio 1/03/17
EAD expired 04/09/2017
Inquiry 04/10/2017

Still haven't heard anything I've contacted the ombudsman and they said my case is pending I called USCIs and I've been told the same to wait to receive a response between 15-30 days. I can't work or drive and it's driving me nuts. I'm not sure if it's because the Nebraska service center is backed up but my brother recieved his 2 days prior to his expiration date which was march 10th. I want to contact my congressman but I'm not sure how effective that would be if seeing a lot of threads saying it worked but I'm not sure if it'll make a difference. Idk what to do it's been over 132 days now and still nothing I'm growing anxious and nervous

I wrote my Congressman via email(wondering if I should call them instead?), submitted an inquiry through USCIS whom said they would update me on any findings in 15 days.

The strange thing is my case is being handled in Nebraska yet the service agent I spoke with when I submitted an inquiry says it is being processed in Vermont, which makes sense since it was processed there the last two times and I live in the northeast.
Have you had any changes ?

This was the closest I've ever been to the expiration date - fingers crossed that the card arrives in time to turn into employer and to renew my license! I encourage everyone to visit their congressman in person with the form that they may require on their website!
You can try taking the letter of approval for you EAD to the DMV depending on the state you live in the should be able to issue you a temp license

Howdy guys
I have a question,
I applied for my DACA for the first time

I applied in November
Biometrics were done at end of December
And I received an RFE which I already sent back two days ago

I'm worried it's been a long process.
Do you think it'll take them forever to review my case again, I sent it to California one.
