That's a really good question. Their is no transparency in the process so I have no way of knowing why every case is treated differently. Why take over a year to deny me the first time and about 5 months to approve me the second time? sigh...

When I first applied back in 2012, it took NSC 21 months to Deny me because of my high school diploma not being accredited... once I was denied I reapplied, it took close to 6 months to get approved at the CSC, but that time I applied with a GED...

Sadly, I live in Tx, and the congressman is not really immigrant friendly and with what's going on here I rather just wait till I get approved. I'll be placing an ombudsman to see if they're of any help! But I'm still waiting on the inquiry I made over the phone on June 5th..

You can type your LIN# into the USCIS website. Also, you should get an email and/or text message about the approval.

Edit: Anyone know if they're issuing 2 or 3 year DACAs this time around? My last one was for 3 years and that was pretty sweet. Hoping that I get another 3 years which'll put me right into the 2020 elections..

Sadly, they only issue 2 year EADs now ever since they got rid of eDACA and DAPA.

Lin number? you mean the receipt number? tried that already both of them no update. Got them done june 30th

Just go my renewal here is my time line
Dec 27th sent application
Jan 4th accepted case
Jan 10 rerouted to Nebraska service center
Jan 18 biometrics
April 10th submitted request with uscis
April 12 submitted information request with my congressman Lloyd doggett.
April 19th uscis responded with "We are working the renewals in the order of previous card expirations."
April 28th revived a letter should receive a decision in the next soon.
May 29th DACA expired
July 4th application for work authorization approved
July 6th DACA approved

It took half a year was very stressful becuase this was the fist time I did it without a lawyer. Next time I'll send it in before the 150 day
