what will your case status online say once they receive your RFE response.. will it change as soon as they receive it?

"On December XX, 2012, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

And yes it will, as soon as they scan your packet it updates

I sent My RFE response 10/22 they recieved it 10/25 and still no approval..

The California Center must be really backed up with RFE's..

Just got RFE.
1st entry '93, last and final entry in '96 both with Tourist Visa. Have not left the US since '96. Completed high school, Undergraduate degree, Master's Degree, almost done with Ph.D. degree. No criminal history / tickets.

Submitted: I-94, Birth certificate, valid social security number, passport, elementary, middle school, and high school records. College records, college degrees, phone and bank statements every 3 months ('07-'12). Receipt of June 15th purchase with accompanying bank statement. Along with a cover letter explaining the entire history and contents.

I hope they overlooked something. Anyone know if sealed transcripts are bad to send? Both transcripts I sent were sealed.

Wow Jose u sent urs on 10/25 and still nothing what was ur RFE for ? I sent mine on 11/19 hoping it would quick process in California......my lawyer sent it for other client it got there on 10/29 and hot approve on 11/7

I think it really depends on the seriousness of the RFE and also the case worker. Ehhh i hope we all get approve before Christmas.

They wanted more proof for 2007-2008, I thought once I sent my response it would be a 1 week approval maybe 2 at the longest .. Man the waiting sucks..
