Guys! I finally got my renewal approved today, 2 days short of 100 days waiting! I was extremely worried this time around, with the combination of my 3 arrests (nothing major, just civil disobediences) and the current political climate I didn't know if it would go through.

Just want to share my renewal experience.

My application was outside of 105-day normal processing time. On the last week of Oct, I proactively submit a e-request ticket and call the NCSC to open a ticket. When I hear back from USCIS, they say my application is still within the processing time. I call NCSC again and argued that it is not within the normal processing time, they admitted it is not this time and would transfer me to tier 2 agent. Got an answer from the agent that my application has just been approved yesterday.

For those who are in the similar situation as mine, the take away from my experience is to submit a e-request or call NCSC as soon as your application past 105 days since they received your application.

Isn't this immigration thing literally the most important thing in your lives though? Essentially everything in my life rotates around DACA.

DACA gives me a driver's license which allows me to go work with the EAD that DACA gives me... which allows me to support myself and my family... which allows me to go out and enjoy myself and life... which allows me to not go off myself.

I spent November 2016 through last week in a deep depression thinking and dreaming about DACA almost 24/7. Now I've got a two year reprieve, but I know the depression's going to come back in about 16 months or so.

I guess it baffles me that some people can be so cavalier about deadlines and their status.

I got approved sometime this week. I checked while ago and it said my card was mailed to me. They received my app late July.

3 months since biometrics today, still waiting...Expire in less than 3 weeks. 2nd renewal here. Never had a problem before, nor had it ever cutting it this close before. Literally nothing besides my age changed in my last application, what's taking so long?
I filed like 3 different claims for case pending over 105 days, lol. I hope one of those works.

I got my DACA approval letter but I didn’t receive my card. I used to get my card before the approval letters. Has anyone received the approval letters before the card?

Don’t remember but they received it late July.

Something weird just happened. When I check the status for my EAD it says that my case was approved on the 14th but last week it was saying my card was being produced and that my case was approved on the 8th...

Called the customer center to start a case inquiry a couple of weeks ago. I see a response was sent recently. My (first) renewal application was received early July. EAD expired late September. Been out of work since. Hoping to get something useful from that inquiry. Feels like I haven't worked in forever
