I opened up three different cases three different ways as early as the beginning of the month. I haven't heard anything back. I'm not sure opening up a case works, but I am going to call again tomorrow.

Finally got an e-mail back from Nebraska Service Center responding to the case I opened about delayed approval and all they said was "your case is currently under review"...ya no sh$t!
and that I should hear back within 2 months....
I don't have 2 months to wait....
So frustrating! All the other years were so easy peasy.

Am I the only one that sent their renewal on time and hasn't been approved before expiration? It seems like everyone either were approved quickly or they expired/were rejected because they didn't send their application on time.

What does your case status say? I called to make a service request yesterday and my status changed to “Tier 1, referral number T1Xxxx, was assigned to an officer for response.” What does this mean?

It still says "your case has been accepted and is under review".

I'm not sure, but maybe what your says is a good thing.

I've tried everything. I even sent in the form to the ombudsman. All I get back is "your case is under review, wait 60 more days". So frustrating!

It’s frustraing to say the least, I want to say it’s a coincidence but it seems my status changed from not currently assigned right after I contacted my congressmen. Hopefully we hear good news soon

When did you send your app and when do you expire?

I guess the only thing I did not do was contact my congressman. Where can I find that info?

I sent my app on 08/03 and expired on 9/15 job told me as soon as I get my card to show up. I found mine on this website:

https://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

Just put in your zip code and their contact info should pop up
