Yes send it now. There is a backlogged so by the time they process your application it'll be close to that 150 days.

Oh wow, yeah 19 months for them to just say no? That's horrible! Glad you got it sorted.

I've been keeping an eye on the Processing Time website from USCIS. Particularly the CSC office. Since August 2017 it's taken them 1 week to process just 1 day worth of applications. It wasn't until the federal judge ordered USCIS to accept DACA renewals again that it actually started moving at a decent rate.

my permit expires october 5th, should i send it in for renewal already?
Also, I went to the dmv today to renew my license and i was told it might not get approved because my permit is close to expiring? Has this happened to anyone?

I personally have not experienced this at the DMV, but we should expect anything from them. I would definitely send it in. My brother sent his 7 months prior to his expiration date and he already got his biometrics appointment for next week. And yeah, there is always the thought in the back of our heads that we are going to lose some months if we get our permits approved right away, but I personally prefer that than waiting for my new permit while the old one is expired.

I really hope i do get approved for my license renewal, this is the first renewal i do because the first I got it they gave me to me for 4 years. I went to an immigration attorney on friday and he told me I have to wait until May to renew my DACA but I'm trying to go to somebody else to renew asap.
You're right I also prefer to lose some months, especially since we don't know if they will stop taking applications at any time.
