Has anyone renewed earlier than 120 days and been approved? Mine expires March/24 and I am not sure whether to send it or not. Also, the value of my assets has grown substantially since my first DACA work permit was issued. Do I run the risk of it not being renewed again because of this?

Everyone is getting approved right at 150 day mark regardless of when you send it. My advice is to send it before the Supreme Court rules to kill DACA and stop renewals.

There’s a big possibility they might just let the applications already pending process that’s why it’s important for you to send you’re packet ASAP!

What do you mean by "right at the 150 day mark" ? Do you mean I should send it 150 days before it expires? Or do you mean that people are getting approved within a time frame of 150 days? Can you clarify? Thanks. My packet is ready to go I just need to look it over one more time to make sure there are no mistakes etc.

I mean that everyone is getting approved 150 days before their permit expires. If you send it before the 150 days, you’re application will still be accepted, however it won’t be approved until 150 before you’re permit expires. I’d suggest you definitely send you’re packet in.

Where have you seen that?

Anyway - I sent mine in about 14 months ahead of schedule. Guess we'll see when I get approved

It’s mentioned in the USCiS website as well as other members reporting their renewals around the 150 day mark.

Q50: Can I file a renewal request outside the recommended filing period of 150 days to 120 days before my current DACA expires?

A50: USCIS strongly encourages you to file your renewal request within the recommended 150-120 day filing period to minimize the possibility that your current period of DACA will expire before you receive a decision on your renewal request.

Requests received earlier than 150 days in advance will be accepted; however, this could result in an overlap between your current DACA and your renewal. This means your renewal period may extend for less than a full two years from the date that your current DACA period expires..

Right, but what about the part where you said that people who submit outside of 150 days get approved at the 150 day mark?

If you follow the renewals threads here you’ll see and read that a lot of members are reporting their renewals right at the 150 day mark before they expire.
