Just a heads up for anyone in Illinois. Five year driver licenses are given to us and they are indistinguishable from any regular driver license. Just got mine was in and out in an hour

since my license would be the length of time as my daca, does that mean i have to constantly renew it or what? im confused about that.

Biometrics-9/17. Approved 9/27. EAD10/1. Approved for instate tuition in VA: 12/17/12 !!! RENEWALS so far 9/27/14, 9/04/16 and NOW 8/12/18

If Obama wins then we should be able to renew it every two years. I'm not sure if going to the office itself would be necessary since it's only two years, online would be much easier. However, if they are very strict then they might require us to go to the office in person to see our renewed EADs.

okay so i'm in florida and i just got my eac and going to get my ss card soon.
so how do i show these documents with other proofs of residency to get my DL?
I'm sure just the card and SSN can't suffice so help?

i hope we can do it online. one day i hope we will be able to live our lives without renewing stuff every so often i have to set a reminder in my phone for 2014 :/ it seems far from now but it will go by fast!

The SSN number arrives with a letter containing your address. The letter from USCIS that grants you deferred action (approval letter) also contains your address. Both those documents are legit and valid as proof of residency.
