lmao, I work in one of the largest healthcare systems in the USA. Your company and your little manager position wouldn't even hold a candle to it.

Right, Fortune 500 does not hire HS diploma individuals unless they have extensive industry experience (unless you're a talented programmer). How much can a 26 year old have lol

They won't even look at your resume unless you have a BA degree.

If you have an opportunity to get a degree you should take it. I'm in the tech field, which in the past anyone with programming experience could get a job in a tech company, but things are changing nowadays. My company will not even talk to you unless you have a tech related degree. They will even call your university to verify the authenticity of your degree.

right, so if he got lucky and worked his way up (salary still lower than a BA manager), he would still have problems moving up the ladders even further. Most managers work on Masters in order to progress to Director or VP.

A degree matters in the corporate world. In the entrepreneurial world less so. But this fool smelling his own shit and getting high off it. He not going further than where he's at in corporate.

Started studying the field i wanted and made my life plan at 13 throughout high school kept studying hard af i already knew college was a scam, started working hard af at 18, was handed over a department at 19 and the rest is history. Only downside is putting up with the butthurtness of the boomers seeing someone young running sht. Im also used to the constant envy. So meh.

When you realize at a young age the effort your parents did and how lucky you are to be here you want to become the pride of all your family. I can proudly say that im the most successful in generations. Now im helping my cousin in mexico with her 2 epileptic babies that were just born. My grandmother with advanced medical conditions and other things. I rather be helping out than be another idiot drowned in bullsht debt from college struggling and sht.

cool story bro, doesn't excuse the fact that you act like a little bitch every time you post on this forum. You might get respect for what you're doing for your family if you respected the people here but all I hear is "NPC" this and how much better you think you are than everyone else on this forum. You do realize a lot of the dreamers on this forum work for fortune 500 right? A lot of us probably make more money than you.

You being the first and most successful in the generation is not unique to dreamer families at all. Nor is giving money to help out your family.

It’s actually changing for the other way around. I’m a software engineer and constantly see new hires with no degrees. I actually frown upon people who go for computer science degrees because it’s just a huge waste of debt , time , and outdated info (at least in the tech world where everything changes like every 3 months ).
Why do you think all these bootcamp classes , google certifications, udemy classes are making a killing

That’s why a lot of large tech companies (FAANG) are dropping degree requirement. They know you can learn those skills without 4 years of garbage (at least in tech world).
