You need to advocate for yourselves and your families directly with your congress people (if they are not hateful racist MAGA types). Write to newspapers and magazines and put pressure. Thousands volunteered and worked for free to help elect Democrats and honestly, immigrants who have been here for Decades should be priority in legislation because it is fair, humane, and economically sound.

You are such a dumbass on so many levels. Your argument only works on the premise that congress would act to pass legislation for us once DACA is killed. There is absolutely no evidence or trends that suggest that would happen. There is countless evidence to the contrary, however.

This is the congress that can't even come together to pass legislation that provides better health care services to THEIR OWN VETERANS. This is the congress that can't put differences aside to avoid a long government shut down (2018/2019) that adversely affected THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND CITIZENS.

Also, do you think dems are going to come across the asile and give votes to a republican immigration legislation package in a second Trump term, handing Trump a bipartisan immigration victory? LOOOOOL. That will never happen.

On top of all of this, Trump would be appointing white nationalists to positions of power. The last thing they will want to do is support relief for Dreamers or any other immigrants. Their M.O. is to reduce the number of immigrants that get any type of immigration benefit that might end up leading to citizenship and a pathway to vote!

While I would like to see republicans have a taste of their own medicine if they do carry out these mass raids and deportations. I also love this nation enough not to see it harmed.

I get that beingoflight thinks that trump is somehow going to save us, as he has voiced many times, but you forget that trump is still hanging around the same band of fools that sank his presidency before it even got off the ground. Now he wants to bring them back in to finish the job. It's either insanity or stupidity. If he did the bare minimum and fired loser miller and got someone with viable policies that could pass congress he could stand a chance of getting anything done.

Also, DACA being cancelled when republicans finally figure out how to cancel it properly is no guarantee that congress will do anything for us, or even pick up the issue.

Such a removal could be enough to trigger actual real financial decline that they won't be able to hide with redefinition of words. Like how they conveniently redefined recession to avoid having their records marred. Its unwise and reckless. Even the original plan that they try to poorly imitate was an abject failure with those deported being on average 60% native born citizens. In true on-brand fashion, they want to make a policy, with full foreknowledge of it going to be a failure, and expect it to succeed this time.

Who really is going to do all their field work that their political donors love? Are they really going to use machines? Where are these so called miracle tier machines that are both less expensive than the already paltry pay they give farm workers. Maybe food prices really should go up in Trumponimics. If Americans think food and housing is expensive now, just wait until Trump permits miller to get his claws into the labor market and food increases 50% in prices. With only 10% of Americans qualifying as middle class, this sounds like an existential crisis in the making.

Its demand destruction because suddenly people wont need to buy as much of stuff. Lower demand for goods and services, by oh, a missing 40 million people. Combined with a flood of money supply because there will be less workers fighting for the same money. And at 1 Trillion dollars and some change(a hundred billion here and there) of new debt every two months, it won't take long for the fragile system to come undone.

Fuck, maybe once the entire govt collapses from a debt crisis I can finally be legalized. I wonder how many republicans ever considered that the debt they love so much could be secret amnesty in disguise?
