I could relate. But don't allow the negativity to get the best of you. You mentioned rushing into a marriage because of Trump. I won't recommend rushing out because things aren't currently working out. Most of the pains in life could be thought of as temporary if you're willing to put in the effort for something better.

As for me, I'd already made up my mind that I'd rather leave than get married. As a result, I am trying to keep my head above water. I'm in school and have a fairly functional business on the side. Last year was tough, but I am hopefully for better times to come.

Don’t get married to adjust out of desperation but also don’t cancelled marriage out of the questions.

And leave the USA first? What exactly are you going to do home. Many of you cry that you’ve been here your whole lives and don’t know anything and yet now want to leave the country?

When a say I'd rather go back than be married, I'm asserting that I'd rather wait until the very end if I cannot find someone compatible than rush into marriage.

How’s your GC treating you?

I've accomplished a lot in the past 4 years. I love my partner but if I had it my way I would have stayed single longer and fool around more. Life is not bad but it's bland. Wish I could travel more and do fun stuff

focus on yourself and the care and love you deserve. There are so many good people out there, someone worth will eventually make it your way. In the mean time though, do try to enjoy and love the blessing of yourself. It's ok to feel this down sometimes, I do too. Just remember not to stay in that place for too long, come out, go out and get some fresh air and sun if possible regularly. Direct your time in taking care of yourself. Im stuck waiting on 601A approval, and 8 years at the same job unable to change because of this process. However, I try not to devote my time and energy on those things I have no control over. I instead try to focus on what I have, my health, my income, time to myself, a few family members who really matter to me.
