He said the same thing last 2 times when DA come to Senate for a vote. I hope Republicans don't pull out last minute.

We need like 12 republicans since there are some Dems that might vote against it.

Durbin has always been hopeful. He can get GOP support but is all about what the Dems are willing to give them.. Wall+border enforcement + more.

A deal can be completed but one side needs to take a L for it to happen.

Relax. The Democratic Party will hold together for Dreamer/DACA vote. Manchin isn’t expected to run for re-election and he supported a DACA effort when Trump ended it. Sinema isn’t up for re-election until 2024. Funny enough, nobody brings up Mark Kelly of Arizona who is up for election next year as someone who might vote no.

This isn’t 2010, the Democratic Party will stick together if the votes are must have for a bill to pass.

There he is Dicky Durbin emerging out of nowhere! A massive deal is brewing in the Senate for sure. It’s different this time. Amazing effort by the big Durbin. Surely we will reach the necessary 60 votes. Joey is turning out to be a top deal maker.

I feel like it's going to be very close. We either get 60 votes or come up short by like 2-3 votes.

The 60 vote threshold will be achieved at the eleventh hour but it will surely go down to the wire just like in 201o. Joey's statesmanship and steadfast vision towards getting shit down, evidenced by the America Rescue Plan, will be the key difference this time. I expect this to be a full bipartisan bill. From the R's I believe Mitty Romney will be a key player leading the pack to provide the remainder of the votes with the majority of the votes coming from the D's.
