A Minnesota court has confirmed that Democrat Al Franken won the most votes in his 2008 Senate race against Republican Norm Coleman.

More than likely that Norm Coleman will appeal once again delaying the seating of Al Franken.

I love how Coleman's stubbornness will inevitably tarnish Pawlenty's hopes of running for president.

Now it's up to 4 judges to decide, and get this thing over with.

About damm time, Coleman knows he's done and is only dragging it out as long as he could just so Franken will miss votes that might help the democrats get a bigger majority vote lead over the republicans. Loyal to the end.

Al is becoming quite the statesman. I think he'll serve the people of Minnesota well.

Quote:
Franken also quoted his old friend Paul Wellstone -- the man whose death in a 2002 plane crash so clearly affected Al and inspired him to become truly serious about politics, to the point of spending years of his life running for his late friend's political office. After discussing all the problems the country faces, and the reasons he got into the race and why his supporters fought so hard, Franken said: "It's like what Paul Wellstone always said: Politics isn't about winning, it's about improving people's lives."

Did you hear about the ads the DNC is running on local radio stations? They're hanging the whole debacle around the Republicans' neck. Whoever thought of that strategy is fucking genius. At the end of it all (May or June) not only will Minnesotans hate Coleman but the whole damn party.
