Recently I posted a thread that talked about a campaign that would promote the Dream Act by having Dreamers cycle to Washington DC in bicycle. I did not get any response (through this portal) of anyone willing to enlist to make our DREAMS come true.

The challenge is hard because the plan is to depart from California to Wasington and deliver letters and the millions of pleas of people like YOU and me in bycicle to our congressman/woman. Yet if we just sit there, call our congressman/woman offices and wait for them to act we will age out. Folks time is going fast and if this is not done we might as well DIE.

That is speaking towards our careers because even if you get the degree that you worked hard for you won't be able to work in your field and that helds you and me back financially and mentally. So PLEASE spread the word about the Cycling to a Dream campaing tell your friends, family, and community organizers about giving this campaing a chance.

Sincerely,

Blue

I appreciate you trying to be creative, but this plan has fail written all over it.

ICE will be waiting for us at the finish line.

come up with a few different ideas if u can.

If done properly this can be pulled off because you are moving within the state and you are not breaking any law after all we are bicycling. Many people have walked though the U.S. for many reasons ranging from Cancer research through funding four our troops why should our cause be diminished trough intimidation.

but they will know you're/some of the riders are illegal.

and for this to happen you need lots of people. and have to make some many arrangements its pretty tough

and if your illegal or young. chances are you dont have much money to take a trip that will take a few months. you know you have to buy water, supplies, etc..

its not just get on your bike and ride.
