Yeah,Here I thought the Senate was taking their time.This could mean that Schumer is gearing up to introduce the bill soon.

just my opinion, i think it is a nice strategy if they hold up the introduction of the bill until they are ready to try to move it through the Senate. because the longer it sits untouched the more time for the opposition to attack it. labor day is a nice time if healthcare reform is done...

I think the health care reform will be about done when the bill is introduced. That way as it is finalized mark up hearing can be held in the senate judiciary for the bill. Tothen move to immigration reform immiediately after health care. We'll see what happens though.

August recess starts on the 8th! I don't think there will be a bill introduced by Labor Day IMO. Senator Reid said that Health will not be voted on before the recess by the Senate.
