It's an interesting dilemma for Christians. Bible says to obey the law but our laws are contradicting... Which law do we follow? The federal or state? We have federal laws that says illegal immigration is wrong but state laws that support illegal immigration... then there are sanctuary laws, etc, you get the point, it's not as simple as "submit to the law" as the bible says and most Christians are aware of that. On top of that bible says to love and help the poor and needy, we are just that, poor and the needy. Which is why most of the Christian community does help out and is understanding toward the illegal immigrants (my experience with my churches that were Korean or American were all positive and very understanding, sympathetic..." But it is still a dilemma because in some cases helping illegal immigrants can be illegal...

Hmm... I'm wondering why they postponed the hearing that was scheduled for Sept. 22...
I hope they don't postpone this hearing.

The fact that it is a "dilemma" to them shows how hypocritical many "Christians" are when they oppose this bill..."Deu 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin." That argument alone should have been enough to push this bill through congress the first time it was proposed.....Period.

The true crime here, is allowing this bill to delay even further.

I hope these so-called "faith based" organizers are able to put their prejudices aside and work together with other groups to actually get something done.

Wait, the website just says postponed. And I'm pretty sure it's not postponed for the 29th.

Anyone have more information?
