Holy shit. Read this story.

"In March 2005, Mills arranged a meeting with two agents of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE, as its acronym in English), Kelly McManus and Morgan Langer, and sealed a pact: the brothers would work as informers and ICE help to get visas S, a rare type of visa granted to people who help the authorities."

Oh, it's in Spanish.

You can read the article translated by google here.

The original, in Spanish is here.

I had never even heard of that type of visa.

Man, that story is so screwed up.

I agree! It goes to show that agencies like ICE can't ever be trusted... I don't think I'll ever look at them without disgust. It's a terrible story! Imagine all the people that have gone through the same and we just don't know about it.

Ain't that the truth :<
I'll never like ICE either. Ugh. Not even when I get my papers & citizenship, I'll always be against an organization like that. They're freakin' disgusting.
My sister spent four months in an immigration jail end of last year, heavily surrounded by ICE people, and she had the most unbelievable stories.
She even told me of this Asian lady who's the owner of a big restaurant (not sure if she was Thai or Chinese or something else), but the point is that the lady was completely legal, had her Green Card & everything, but ICE made a mistake, went to her restaurant right before lunch time, & lured her, saying they had some problem that was easily fixable & that she needed to go with them but it would take no more than 5-10min and she'd be back to work in time for the rush.
Well, whaddaya know, the lady never came back. Was sent to the same immigration jail that my sister was at, so that's how they met. Apparently eventually ICE figured out their mistake & that absolutely nothing was wrong with her documentation, but guess what. They found some excuse to deport her anyway cuz they knew she'd sue their asses big time if she was released.
Sooooo, deported she went.

Disgusting, no?

I'm not even going to read the article because I know its just going to make me either sad or angry or both. I've been disgusted by ICE ever since I heard they existed.

shouldn't we question them if they have the proper documents to arrest us...or in their case, arrest us disguise? I mean cops can't even arrest you without a warrant, so shouldn't ICE be questioned just as well?

U know what.. Fuck them... They were snitchers, and god knows if they were really snitching on "criminals". ICE doesn't give two craps about criminals or non-criminals, they just deport. If they gave in to the temptation of having their papers by snitching, then they could have been snitching on anyone. I mean in that article itself says they worked in a factory to spy on illegal workers, are factory workers criminals? I don't feel sorry for them at all, I feel sorry for the people they selfishly ratted out.
