Last Sunday Press Secretary to the White House, Robert Gibbs, was sent to the belly of the beast, teabagger central aka Fox News to deliver a powerful message in no uncertain terms: Democrats win, Republicans lose (yes, he rubbed that shit in their face).

This is our time, the momentum is back on our side, and we need to use this recent victory to achieve CIR.

Keep in mind that we have all kinds of events going on across the country and if we don't take advantage of this Democratic resurgence in popularity (just wait to see those polls) our chance will have slipped away once again.

Please call/fax/email key Senators as much and as often as you can because your future literally depends on it.

of course.. thats the only way they're going to pass HCR. And Honestly, I don't know anyone in their right mind who doesn't see a major GOP backlash coming if they try to push CIR right after they pull a fast one like that.

But fuck it.

We gotta keep believing. I'm going down to D.C. anyways and march on the 21st even though that asshole ain't going to be in the country... He'll see my ass walking from the air force 1. Who's with me?!? wooooot!!

I don't think that's happening. The Senate promised the House that they would use reconciliation to make the overall bill more liberal once the House passed the Senate bill. Me thinks that when the House passes the current Senate bill, the Senate will turn around and go "just kidding" and we'll be stuck with Baucus/Nelson/Lincoln health care.

Reconciliation is not needed because the Senate already passed a bill. All they need now is to get the House to pass the same bill without any amendments. Speaker Pelosi never had the votes to do that so she's using a procedure called "deem and pass" where the House doesn't have to vote on that same bill.
