He's in stable condition thank goodness but this will not help the cause. The ppl that shot him were transporting marijuana.

Pretty bad news. CIR proposal will deal with border security and it might kick some butts in senate to move forward faster. Hopefully government will not forget about us. The border HAS to be secured so these incidents don't happen. I would favor having gun turrets and land mines just like on South and North Korea border. I never heard of anyone crossing Koreas border alive

I agree with Alex

It was probably a drug cartel member.

This is gonna get nasty. I'm wondering though, how did they manage to find out if they were illegal or not? Just by looks? These monsters won't let anything stand in their way but, legal or illegal they are still monsters.

I admit what I am going to say is sick in a way, but all of this "bad news" that comes up is actually good for us.

The law passed in Arizona brought immigration into the national spotlight. Without it, immigration reform would have been forgotten and swept under the rug for another year.

The more shootings, the more strict, racist state laws that are passed, the more awful things that happen, then the more pressure there is on our miserable failure of a president, Obama, and the Congress to act on immigration reform this year, which will likely include some sort of path to citizenship for people in our situation, who were brought over as kids.

I dont think this is good news at all, because every new act of violence will be just one more reason to get even more strict on the law enforcement side. Besides, the undocumented population does not need to be connected to violent criminals in the news.
