SUPPORT THE STUDENT IMMGIRANT MOVEMENT

CALL SENATOR SCOTT BROWN AND TELL HIM TO SUPPORT THE DREAM ACT

Making phone calls is an easy and highly effective tactic for delivering our message to our elected officials. Thank you for supporting our undocumented youth, and helping us get the word to Scott Brown that we will not wait any longer, that we need the DREAM Act now!!

Some Things to remember:·

-Look over the script, and feel free to personalize it with your own story

-Introduce yourself to whoever answers the phone. Let them know what city you live in and make sure to tell them if you are a voter

-If you get a busy signal, please call again! Leave a voicemail or message with the receptionist! Every call counts!

Scott Brown Calling Script

Hello My name is _______________(Your Name). I am a voter/resident and I am voter/resident from________(City or town).

I am calling to speak with Senator Scott Brown about meeting with the Student Immigrant Movement and joining the rest of the Massachusetts delegation in co-sponsoring the Dream Act, which would create a pathway to citizenship for thousands of young students who were brought to the United States years ago as children.

I would like two things from Senator Brown. First I would like him to meet with the Student Immigrant Movement before May 4th, and hear stories from Immigrant Youth. Secondly I want him to join the rest of the Massachusetts Delegation and Support the DREAM Act.

Can I count on Senator Brown to meet with the Student Immigrant Movement before May 4th and to support the DREAM Act in this session of congress? Thank you for your time, I know you will make the right decision and give our dreams back!
