When Senator Harry Reid (D_Nevada) changed his focus to energy reform instead of immigration, he created a specter of doom for comprehensive immigration reform in 2010. This news heralds a major disappointment for millions of people who have been pursuing immigration reform for 2010. Reid, still not giving up on immigration reform, has reportedly changed his strategy, and instead of attempting to have a comprehensive reform this year, he is focusing on a number of proposals that have been floating around which may be easier for him to garner bipartisan support. Although there are many different proposals regarding immigration reform, none of them cry out more for immediate resolution than the Dream Act.

yea all this talk here and there, but there is no action in Congress... they choose to ignore all the protests and the futures of all of us young people, and decide to just play games and politics...

Wow, once again my hopes are up for what Reid is saying is his 'new strategy'. I just hope there is some action in Congress and that we can have this so we can get on with our lives and DREAMs as functional, contributing members of this society. I can only hope, call, fax, and email...

Has anyone ever even heard of this "news" source. I find it very hard to take them serious and then with that picture that they have there of Reid.

What the hell is that about? Sorry. Thanks, but no thanks. Get me something from AP, or Washington Post, or NYT, or some other major newspaper.

Yes, that picture of Reid looks very questionable.. Seems like just an independently run newsblog...

The awesomeness of that is almost too good to be true, so it's probably not going to happen. Though it would be awesome if it did.
