"This year" measn s**** when they know it doesn't stand a chance as an stand-only bill. It has to be attached to another must-pass legislation. They know it; we know it. It has to be done before the summer recess, otherwise after September, all senators will spend their time campagning until November. And then is just two weeks' of backed up work before the "Thanksgiving" recess. One week or 10 days in December and is again the "Holiday" recess until the new year.

New year; new Congress! And with it, probably, more Republicans to make our life hell. I wish these newspapers would call out the bullshit out of their sources. Sigh.

dtrt09 can't agree with you more tell it like it is it's the truth....well hopefully, since i still have hope,
(don't let your hope die it's the only thing that makes leaders) the bill gets to the house floor or the senate floor for a vote on july or august....and one pushes the other to act on it......if that doesn't happen...drt09 is right it's not goin anywhere till next year and by then our chance are slimmer.....
