Just in case my vehicle GOT taken away due to no license and taken to the corral

Lets say i was pulled over on my motorcycle ( i just bought one, I need transportation no matter what) and they take it away, tow it and take it to the corral. My mom has a drivers license from here she got it back when they used to give them long time ago. My dad got his about a year ago from New Mexico, but they are both regular drivers license. How would i get my bike back it this happened ? I'm assuming they ask for a motorcycle drivers license at the corral right ? how would i be able to get it out? will my moms or dads drivers license help ? if now what could i do in a situation like this ?

i think what would help is if your dad and mom goes to the tow yard with a trailer or truck and tell them that they want the motorcycle and they will be towing it. therefore there is no need for class M license. at longest everything else is legit on the bike and one of their names is in the motorcycle title.

just my 2 cents...

What kind of bikes do you guys have?

Always be sure to follow the speed limit. ESPECIALLY on a sport bike. It's alot easier to gun the throttle on those things than the bigger and heavier cruisers. And stay away from groups of other sport bike riders that are being reckless on the streets/fwy (ie, super high speeds, weaving in and out of traffic, stunts, etc...) bc they will call the attention of police.

Ive ridden a few bikes but I'm in the process of buying a 1300 VTX or V-Star. Im not a big fan of the sport bikes.

And good call on starting small if you're going the sport bike way, franko. 750's are quick and could be very dangerous if you don't have any experience.

I think if you have a friend with a California driver's license and the pink slip they might be able to drive it away for you
