well I logged on and have been listening to this asshole steve king (R-Iowa)

Wow lol this guy is telling the house to change the weight restrictions for U.S residents who want to join the forces. Basically saying that he'd rather have an unhealthy obese kid serving instead of a healthy eligible dreamer... FAIL

This is by far the worst way to support his opposition to the Dream act. Why are idiots like him elected as Senators again? lol

Well this guy is a representative. But if DREAM was brought up as a standalone it would still need to go through the House. But according to Luis Guitirrez (in a memo to Obama) we have the 218 needed in the house. =P but he also said DREAM would not need a single republican and as an amendment it doesn't but we sure as hell needed at least 2 republican cotes in addition to all democratic votes yesterday to break the filibuster in the Senate.
