Crist zeroed in on LeMieux's decision this week to join Republicans to prevent a vote against the DREAM Act, which would grant permanent residency to immigrants who were brought to the United States as children and who have completed some time in college or the military.
LeMieux opposed the measure because he said it circumvented the Senate committee process and failed to address the larger immigration issues. His spokesman, Ken Lundberg, did not respond to Crist's criticisms that LeMieux is too partisan.

There is intense pressure on Lemiux to change his stance on the dream act.

LeMieux actually said on Tuesday's debate that he "symphathizes" for us, but he thinks DA should be in an immigration issue instead of defense. Who knows, we may sway him to our side.

Yes, we need to keep pressure on him. It sounds like he might vote in favor if he sympathizes with us.

He'd probably feel different if DA went up stand alone.

Based on articles after the votes, it seems like a yes from him.

then say lemieux could or might vote yes if its standalone instead of saying lemieux is a yes if its a standalone.

"LeMieux opposed the measure because he said it circumvented the Senate committee process and failed to address the larger immigration issues."

Accoring to the article above, lemieux could still vote no since durbin is bypassing the judiciary committee process and it fails to address the larger immigration issues (aka its not part of CIR). So DA User, stop with your nonsense ohh this person is a yes, that person is a yes, ohh we can get 62-63 votes easily, ohh john mccain will come around and vote yes since he won his primary election and has nothing to be afraid about.. I don't think you've ever been correct.
