We are ok, with NOT being able to bring anyone else to The USA. Which we have to wait 25 years to do so. Our interest is to continue our Education, while we are still young.

(I am Sure, you once had a Dream too). We just want to be the Fruit of this Nation and a Blessing to our next generation by, providing our contribution to this wonderful Country who has given us so much. We just want to be a positive attribute to this Nation.

Please, DON'T let us wait any longer. We have waited 10 years and life is passing us by. While we are in the shadows wasting our intelligence, the desire to be Successful citizens, the ability to Join the Military at a reasonable age and most "IMPORTANTLY" our Youth. We are the future of this Nation. Please invest in America's future by Supporting; (THE DREAM ACT S.3992)

S/N:

President Barack Obama Statement:

I congratulate the House of Representatives, Speaker Pelosi, Congressman Berman, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and other congressional leaders for taking the historic step of passing the DREAM Act today with a bipartisan vote. This vote is not only the right thing to do for a group of talented young people who seek to serve a country they know as their own by continuing their education or serving in the military, but it is the right thing for the United States of America. We are enriched by their talents and the success of their efforts will contribute to our nation's success and security. And as the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office found, the DREAM Act would cut the deficit by $2.2 billion over the next 10 years. I strongly urge the U.S. Senate to also pass the DREAM Act so that I can sign it into law as soon as possible.

Thank you for Reading,

Sincerely,

-A Dreamer.

Bump I just called her office and Staffers are only making note of constituents phonecalls, so be prepared when making your phone calls.

Is there a direct quote from the bill that can be used to verify the claim?

She will be more persuaded if she found out she was voting on a false idea, than if we just plead with her.

Here's a source:

Quote:
CLAIM: Despite Their Current Illegal Status, DREAM Act Aliens Will Be Given All The Rights That Legal Immigrants Receive — Including The Legal Right To Sponsor Their Parents And Extended Family Members For Immigration

FACT: Beneficiaries Of the DREAM Act Cannot Sponsor Members Of Their Extended Family

Quote:
DREAM Act Beneficiaries Cannot Sponsor Members Of Their Extended Family And Many Parents Will Be Ineligible For Sponsorship. According to the National Immigration Law Center:

MYTH: Beneficiaries of the DREAM can sponsor their relatives-the parents who brought them here illegally, any siblings left in the home country, and then aunts, uncles, cousins, and so on.

Even when DREAM beneficiaries attain citizenship, they can never sponsor their aunts/uncles or cousins. Immigration law doesn't allow it.
Many parents will be ineligible to adjust: Students who fulfill all of the requirements prescribed in the DREAM Act can adjust their status and eventually apply to become U.S. citizens. If they apply and become citizens, like other U.S. citizens, they can petition for their parents when they turn 21. However, if their parents originally entered the country without inspection, they will not be eligible to get relief. While parents who entered without inspection may apply for an immigrant visa at a consulate abroad, they will likely be barred from entering the U.S. for ten years if they have been unlawfully present in the U.S. for over six months.

So what did you say? You are from Texas? Did you give them a false zip code? Or did they ask for an address?

I always leave voice mails after hours because I don't like talking to staffers.
