Spread the word. Hello anti's! You too! Make the filibuster real instead of keeping it as a despicable political tool. Not just for DA but for future legislation too!

I wonder if they would re-introduce the DA if this passes... doubt it but maybe.

But in the next two years we would still face strong opposition in the House. =(

To all members of the Senate in the 112th Congress:

Make the filibuster real. Require Senators who filibuster to stay on the floor and explain to the American people why they think they are right and a majority of Senators are wrong.
If Sessions stoop up and explained the American people on TV, why DA should not pass, he would more than likely succeed:

*Illegal is illegal.
*Unfair to those who followed the law.
*Could grant amnesty to all 12 million people.
*Criminals would qualify.
*Encourages more illegal immigration
*Each beneficiary could sponsor 170 relatives
*Steal American jobs
*White people will be suppressed
*Dreamers will get priority over citizens in scholarships, grants, and college admissions.
*Dreamers will drain this country's resources by getting all government benefits without paying taxes.
*How can we trust people who couldn't even follow our immigration law and their very own presence is illegal.

And the list goes on and on...

If Americans heard this shit, they would probably campaign against the Dream Act harder than people who advocated for civil rights.

This proposal on making the filibuster real will backfire on us.

No. we had a majority in support. (50+ senators) it didnt pass cus of the filibuster. If a fillibuster were justified instead of being used as a bill killer, it would be great. They would have to explain why a majority is wrong. Ever been in a relationship or had No argument? Well a filibuster is the equivalent of a : whateva whateva I don't wanna talk aboit it's ummmm hmmmmmm whateva. Cus I said so! Le sigh.........

As I said, Sessions would succeed in convincing American people why the majority is wrong if he received the opportunity to explain the American people.

Or are you saying you didn't understand the point I was making?

Filibusterer are brought by the people's vote there are some bills that dont need anything but a simple majority, But when a party brings an immigration bill up when know one gets to make an amendment to it till its already at the senate. It does not go to committee and debate is not held like every bill suppose to then yeah your going to get filibusterer every time. The reason we use so many filibusterer now is because the republicans did this to the democrats before and now the democrats are trying to do it to the Republicans and Americans had enough of it all bills like the dream act. Americans got tired of having stuff rammed down there throat without having there legislator even say a word it was a horrible way to bring a bill like that at the end of a Lame Duck. Democrat knew it was going to be filibusterer because they did not bring the bill up properly like the health bill was done still has people pissed off the way that happened.
