Mostly unreadable article -- but of interest in the spirit of "know thine enemy."

Also, the commentary is more sophisticated than usual, but mean spirited and miserly all the same.

This (completely ungrounded) excerpt is notable to the extent it shows how out of touch the author is:

During the recent DREAM Act frenzy, when a few Mexican students in American universities came forward to announce that they were here illegally, we heard almost no reasons why in the abstract they wished to remain in the country they had traveled to — and why under no circumstances were they willing to return to the country where they were born. Indeed, had supporters of the DREAM Act praised the dignity of the United States, its economic robustness, its historical role in the 20th century of defeating totalitarianism, its rule of law, or its meritocratic system rather than postured that America “had to” adjust its protocols to the desires of the illegal immigrants, the DREAM Act might well have passed.

What a mess. 12 million people can't organize uniformly...

That's so vague.. you didn't even care to explain your response that it is impossible for me to know what you are referring to.
Anyways, this guy brings up some interesting points. It's true, many DREAMers that came out of the shadows never once brought up why they desired to stay in this country except for the fact that they were brought here illegally through no means of their own.

To me the necessity for an explanation is somewhat counter-intuitive (although in many instances I do think Dreamers were very quick to profess their loyalty to "the only country they knew"). One of the defining aspects of DREAM is that when you are brought here as a minor, and have been educated/cultured here, you are essentially American. It's like asking an American, what is your justification for wanting to stay in this country when there is vast globe out there waiting for exploration.

Your exactly right demeaning people and threatening politicians that your going to make sure that you will not get elected next term has shown exactly what it causes. You use fighting words in this country in particular you will get a fight and lose that fight. You cannot hammer that in enough on this web site people need to watch there words because they leave a lasting affect that will damage the ideas you want forever.
