Hello everyone,

No matter which strategy we use, I think the most sensible thing we can do in the next two years is to pressure for CIR . . . UNLESS A DREAM ACT 2011/2012 STAND-ALONE VERSION INCLUDES A HIGHLY EFFECTIVE BORDER SECURITY PLAN AND MAKES E-VERIFY MANDATORY--WHICH I DOUBT WILL HAPPEN BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE LIFE A NIGHTMARE FOR OUR OTHER 10 MILLION UNDOCUMENTED BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

WE NEED TO PUSH FOR CIR. SUCH A BILL WOULD INDEED ADDRESS THE MAJOR DEMANDS OF MANY REPUBLICANS: BORDER SECURITY AND E-VERIFY.

So, if any of us plan to do sit-ins in legislators' offices, we need to say "Support CIR."
