Obama Criticizes Georgia’s Immigration Bill (VIDEO)

President Obama has weighed in on the controversial Arizona style law that the Georgia Governor has said he intends to sign into law.

“It is a mistake for states to try to do this piecemeal. We can’t have 50 different immigration laws around the country. Arizona tried this and a federal court already struck them down,” Obama told WSB-TV in an interview taped Tuesday.

Georgia officials claim that the bill is necessary because the federal government has failed to do its job in securing the border and halting illegal immigration.

This is only reason i like Obama. I know he didnt do anything in these two yrs and he might not even touch immigration issue in his 1st term, but he did blocked Anti's laws from passing it. I think no president would mess with immigration issue in their 1st term.

You know what i find funny in this whole Georgia anti-immigration bill, the fact that they are no where near any border to actually justify the bill; as Arizona at least is neighbor to Mexico. It's never been about immigration, this nation has grown too much into its Nativism roots, and ultimately that leads to racism.
