Romney Passes on Rubio's DREAM Act Plan - for Now

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney refused to endorse Florida Senator and prospective running-mate Marco Rubio's DREAM Act GOP alternative proposal that would allow young undocumented immigrants to remain in the United States to work or study. Though Romney passed on supporting the proposed measure, he added that there were provisions to "commend" in it and that his campaign would "study the issue."
Guess which adviser advised Romney to reject Rubio Dream Act.

Just remember that Kobach approves or rejects GOP immigration policy...

I think that this article is misleading.

Romney clearly states in the video that he is "studying " the bill. So no one can really say that he is REJECTING Rubio's DA

It still needs to be presented and formally introduced.

Every article is subjected and is heavily influenced by the author who wrote it. And so for anyone to say that Romney "Rejected" the proposal is very inaccurate by all means.

Romney is waiting for the bill to be presented, so he can declare his stance on the issue.

I agree with Drock man. This is misleading. Immigrant, why are you always trying to post misleading things?

While you are at it, you might as well try to argue that Hitler was a staunch promoter of human rights.

Technically, he's not supporting it. He could have easily said "I am waiting for the details but in principle I support it". He had also explicitly said he is against the original Dream Act.

Obama has come out in public and told the entire country he supports the real Dream Act.

Nobody cares what Romney thinks. He has zero importance until he actually becomes President.
