How do writers come up with this shit. This is bs. No offense to the person who posted this. But, I ask that moderators delete these type of articles. They only increase our frustration. Fuck 2014. Work is need. Work and fucking pressure is need on the issue to get it resolved. Not predictions and assumptions and shit cakes.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha. I am not laughing at you; I'm laughing with you. All I have to say is that I am beginning to feel not just sad or frustrated, etc. I feel angry; not destructive, hate towards others anger, of course. But good anger. The one caused by injustice. When women get angry is just not good...

I think those of us who have been on this forum long enough and has been actively involve over the years can agree on these basic key points:

1. No legislation to benefit us will become law this year 2012.

I'm not talking about whether if it's going to pass the senate this year, I'm talking about a bill that will pass both the senate and the house and be sent to the president to be signed into law. That will not happen this year, plain and simple.

2. Democrats need to regain control of the house or put a serious dent in the republican's majority.

In order for any legislation to pass to benefit us next year 2013, which I think will be our next best chance. Something has to happen to the republican majority in the house. Currently republicans has 242 seats and democrats 193 seats Most pollsters has it that democrats will gain around 15-20 seats in the coming elections. My gut feeling is that republicans are going to still keep the house, but if we can get their majority between 218-225 seats that's not so bad as 242.

3. President Obama needs to be reelected and Democrats has to keep control of the senate.

Unless the economy goes for a free fall, I believe Obama will reelected and I'm democrats can hold on to the senate

I tire of the continued dreaming in this forum. I know there is frustration here, I know there is anger, the conditions of our lives are disgusting but sometimes the truth needs to be spoken. This struggle will continue to endure for the years to come and will only get nastier. SB 1070 might actually go nationwide and is expected to be upheld by the court. The Dream act, republican or democrat is going to be mired in the partisan politics of either party. Guys, think of your plan b There is no point in endless dreaming. Own your life or expect to get fucked by legislators. Please, just hear me out. The DA will not pass this year, next year it might even get shelved by political trends(Israel is likely to attack Iran next year, european crisis worsens, etc, etc). Own your life, act, don't dream. I know thirty somethings who could have the chance to go to Mexico and work at ace software firms but yet they cling to broken dreams and lost hopes. Please guys, live your life.
