It's going to take a lot to shift the momentum in Obama's direction again...

Gosh, if only Obama had been as bold as Romney in the first debate...

There is a lot of pressure on Biden to do well against Ryan. Judging from his last debate with Palin, he is not aggressive enough. But he does have much more experience and is more relatable.

lol you need to get over that first debate. It was only a debate. The guy got caught off guard by Mitt. That's all. Watch how Obama slam dunks at the next debate. I guarantee you Obama will connect more with the audience. I went to school there. I would say 80% of the student body there is liberal. The students will be asking questions to the candidates and I'm sure Obama will nail them. Mitt will be isolated at this town hall debate. Chillax coz the way I see it Romney needs to win Ohio, VA, Florida, and most of the other battleground states to win. This is highly unlikely. Ohio is a MUST MUST..Obama's going to take this election.

Even John Kerry was leading Bush in national polls weeks before the election. He lost Ohio signalling his defeat. At that time, the country was afraid of changing presidents during war time. Right now, the country is very unlikely to change presidents during an economic crisis and possible second recession. Romney would totally mess everything up with his radical policies. All government programs will be cut back resulting in job loss. I don't think the public is ready for him yet. That hispanic demographic in Ohio and Florida and other states will really bring this home for Obama.

After the first debate, the Obama campaign is going to go all out. It will also improve Biden's debate as well. Romney has awakened the sleeping giant known as Obama. The first debate was a warm up. Obama will know what to expect, and counter it. I will be watching.

All that matters is the electoral votes. You can win the popular vote and lose the presidency, just ask Al Gore.

Instead of wasting energy looking up polls and freaking out about a debate that took place almost a week ago, please get out there and ask your U.S. citizen friends and relatives to go to the polls in November to support Obama and the Democrats.
