I feel bad whenever I read these user comments about "illegal aliens" in every article

Out of the 400+ people approved here, the longest I've seen is way less than 3 months. That and considering they were expecting (hopefully prepared for as well) 300k applicants by September (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) then it shouldn't be taking 4 months. I wonder what the hold up is for so many people tho.

Don't feel bad about them 56% of Americans support DACA. Those people who post on those sites are lazy ignorant repubs who'd rather slam Obama all day on the internet then get out and find a job. Some of them say we want to be handed welfare and use the system. How crazy!

Still a pretty low number considering the original estimate of around 2 million people applying. I'm so glad I applied in august instead of waiting. Even if Obama wins the wait times will be ridiculous for DACA. If Romney wins, at least we'll have 2 years to do something before we have to leave.

Well, if it helps, once you're approved for DACA, you aren't illegal anymore per se.
