Were you a refugee and somehow lost status??
Your sponser was helping you and then they passed away or disapeared leaving you in limbo??
Lawyer stole your money and screwed you over??
Whole family got status but somehow you were left out??

I'm trying to get some UNIQUE stories together other than the typical my parents brought me here from Mexico, etc. for the media so we can try and get support by showing a different type of case. I'm going to be submitting them to Glamour and other women's magazines that really really love doing these types of stories, especially international type ones, as well as TIME Magazine which has a history of doing pretty sympathetic Immigration articles..

I need these ASAP since magazines take a while to come out on newstands.. and we need it out by September.. for those (guys) and others who don't know - Glamour and other women's magazines typically do 2-3 stories a month about international and other humanitarion issues and always have ACTION ALERTS at the end instructing readers how they can help. One actually had a DREAM Act article several years ago and instructed readers to call their senators. Millions of readers could be reached. I think the magazines are easily accessible and might not get as many submissions as TV shows would..

As I said - you'll have my story by Friday. :P This is an amazing idea, and I sincerely hope more people help out.
