I just called Senator Cornyn's Austin office (512-469-6034) and the man there asked me which version do I support and what are the parts of it that I find appealing. He was aware that Texas offers instate and I told him it would be a waste to allow these students to get a degree and then not be able to work as professionals. So, if any of you can, call and let the staffer know all the good reasons to support DREAM Act. He also asked for zip by the way.

hey guys.. i just called Cornyn.. the staffer said

"Are you aware the Dream Act didn't make it to the floor? So it won't get a vote?"

And then I said, "Well... won't it go on the floor in November?"

He said, "Reid said he would but it has not been scheduled."

=(

Maybe we should start calling Reid then...
