The Chair of the House Judiciary speaks about immigration reform here.Rep. Goodlatte on the program said his Judiciary will be doing step by step and is in communication with the House Gang concerning immigration changes. He also mentioned his committee will eventually also take up the legalization aspect.

This makes me wonder if the Chairman is just waiting on the House 'Gang of 7' to finally produce a bill and is just intentionally slow walking certain popular aspects of reform[amongst his party] first until legislation is produced. The House Judiciary is currently doing markup for various immigration bills surrounding high tech visas,e-verify,Agjobs and SAFE act[internal enforcement via deputizing local enforcement].

The House Judiciary s currently doing "markup"? How ridiculous does this sound when the FULL SENATE is about to pass an entire CIR legislation lol. They're just messing around with us. There is no bill in the house and there never will be one. They will have to take up the Senate version and modify it. Hoping for a cloture vote tomorrow.
