Sens. Tom Harkin of Iowa and Dick Durbin of Illinois say the event set for Aug. 2 in Ames will feature Iowan immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as kids.

King has come under attack for asserting that many such youths are actually drug mules.

The event will come as Congress breaks for a five-week summer recess expected to feature events around the country aimed at pressuring House Republicans to act on immigration.

This article mentions it is set for August 2nd in Rep. Kings district,I assume it must be for local Dreamers in Iowa or you might wanna contact Durbin's office to see if you can attend or contact UWD for details if they have any concerning.
