(Blog)Comprehensive immigration reform can’t wait

As I arrived at the U.S. Capitol building Thursday morning I thought to myself: it’s a beautiful day to get arrested. I took my place among 100 mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters at the intersection in front of the House of Representatives to say my country, too, is at a crossroads. We can seize this moment to demand action on comprehensive immigration reform, or we can turn our backs on 11 million aspiring Americans’ hopes and dreams: for a path to citizenship, for asylum, for humane detention policies and an end to the 1,100 deportations that happen in our country each day.

werent you saying obama should give DACA instead and that would be good and you wouldnt mind waiting 25 years for a DACA like package?
