El Paso - Texas federal authorities deported Wednesday to a second demonstrator from a group of 34 young immigrants who in September was turned over to the U.S. authorities on the border with Mexico , and are known as the " Dream30 " .

Brandon 's attorney Peña Efren Valencia reported that it was delivered on Tuesday to the Mexican authorities .

Of the 34 , nine were released shortly after crossing into the United States. Another 16 were released long after interviews identified that met the criteria for asylum , seven remain in detention. Two of these waiting to be released while the other could be deported .

All came to the United States without immigration papers as children and are not U.S. citizens.

They are called " dreamers " in reference to the Dream Act that would give immigrants legal status as they live in the country .

In September protested to bring together young people deported with their families in the United States.

I was there, by coincidence. I was at the detention center in El Paso, and the hearing was happening for 4 Dreamers, who were part of the Dream 30. Unfortunately because of work, I couldn't attend the hearing, but we met up with a journalist from the Associated Press and he said the hearing was roughly 15 minutes, and that the judge said that their cases were no ground for asylum. Their attorney, who came down from New England, is going to appeal, but Judge Abbott already made his (her?) mind.
On a side note, it felt pretty awesome to walk into the ICE detention center, have them check my status and not feel scared at all. :P

Yeah, their cases wouldn't be believable because its all bullshit. They were hoping that because of the whole "cir" and "dream9" (which by the way, they're probably going to face the same fate as these guys. Asylum was going to be a piece of cake "hey lets just use the cartels fuck it" It sucks, but come on.. why leave to begin with?

Unless their immediate relatives actually got threatened, hurt, or killed by the cartels, they have no ground for asylum. Do they even have an inkling of an idea about how hard it is to qualify for asylum? Only one out of about five people got their asylum application approved, and we're talking real asylum seekers, not political stuntmen.
