Texas Conservative College Group To Hold ‘Catch An Illegal Immigrant’ Game

On Wednesday, the University of Texas Young Conservatives group will hold a mock immigration raid to target several students on campus who are purposefully wearing “illegal immigrant” t-shirts. The Facebook event is meant to “spark a campus-wide discussion about the issue of illegal immigration, and how it affects our everyday lives” and students who “catch” an undocumented immigrant will receive a $25 gift card.

The Facebook event was posted early Monday morning, but it has already drawn sharp opposition from people who have contacted the university president’s office to call for the expulsion of the lead organizer Lorenza Garcia. A university spokesperson said that the school will release a response on Wednesday afternoon.

It's proof that in the right circumstances hispanics can easily be conservatives AND anti-immigrant. The name Ted Cruz comes to mind, from the very same state nonetheless. I even see it on this very forum, kids who from one side of the mouth want DACA and DREAM Act while from the other want to shoot border crossers similar to their very own parents.
