Advance Parole

Quick question guys,

I want to apply for AP to visit my father that I haven't seen in almost 20 years, and just learned that he has liver problems may not last long. So my questions is in order to apply do I have to be married to a US citizen? or waiting for my green card or something like that? I am not married, or have any application pending with USCIS. I am approved for DACA already, I am a bit confused. Any info I really appreciated.

To answer your question - No you do not have to be in the process of obtaining your green card. Your DACA alone makes you eligible to apply for AP.

Anyway, you don't need to be married or applying for waiting for a green card to use AP. Just send in the application with all the relevant details.
