If she didn't flee none of this would happen. She wouldn't even be charged with anything since you can't expect kids to be hiding inside a leaf pile.

I feel terrible for this girl and for the 2 girls that got killed, this is a freak accident and could of happened to anybody. It's a shame their life's are lost and this girl is stuck with 2 felonies.

This is NOT accident at all, this is an incident, an accident is when it could have not been prevented, aka she HAD to run through that pile of leaves or else she would hit something/people, going that way was her ONLY way. Then we can say it was an accident


She purposely drove on the side, got into a yard, a field, and purposely ran over a pile of leafs. she could have prevented this by NOT driving over those leafs.


So no, this is in no way, shape or form an accident. The fact that she and her brother ran away and tried to clean the evidence makes it even worse

By your definition, every car accident wouldn't be an accident then. There are multiple roads and if you get a car accident, that wouldn't be the only road hence you purposefully took that road that happen to get you in a car accident so it wouldn't be an accident.
