If she didn't flee none of this would happen. She wouldn't even be charged with anything since you can't expect kids to be hiding inside a leaf pile.

I've said it before I'll say it for the 100th time: If one Dreamer screws up and gets on the news, we will all be lumped together. Be smart.

This is NOT accident at all, this is an incident, an accident is when it could have not been prevented, aka she HAD to run through that pile of leaves or else she would hit something/people, going that way was her ONLY way. Then we can say it was an accident

She purposely drove on the side, got into a yard, a field, and purposely ran over a pile of leafs. she could have prevented this by NOT driving over those leafs.

So no, this is in no way, shape or form an accident. The fact that she and her brother ran away and tried to clean the evidence makes it even worse

ac·ci·dent/ˈaksidənt/
noun
1.an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury.
2.an event that happens by chance or that is without apparent or deliberate cause.

By your definition, every car accident wouldn't be an accident then. There are multiple roads and if you get a car accident, that wouldn't be the only road hence you purposefully took that road that happen to get you in a car accident so it wouldn't be an accident.

Do you even know what you sound like? Do you at least think about some of the things you people say before saying or are you people like every other people that says things lightly because it is on the net?

Main Entry: 1in·ci·dent
Pronunciation: \ˈin(t)-sə-dənt, -ˌdent\
1 :* something dependent on or subordinate to something else of greater or principal importance 2 a :* an occurrence of an action or situation that is a separate unit of experience :* happening b :* an accompanying minor occurrence or condition :* concomitant 3 :* an action likely to lead to grave consequences especially in diplomatic matters <a serious border incident>

How embarrassing of you for not knowing the definition of an incident.

You both are right it was an unfortunate incident that involved an accident.

Quote:
Prosecutors say the Oct. 20 crash was an accident. But they say the young woman failed to come forward after learning she might have struck the children in the leaf pile, which was on the street.
