I think this is good news to see cities from states that are a part of the lawsuit against the EO.

A lot of cities tend to be more liberal or at least in the middle. They have to deal with people on a human level - police have to be able to patrol areas with people not being in fear of them, etc.

The problem is that places like Texas are huge and even though Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas are liberalish, all the suburbs and rural areas are hardcore conservative.
