Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.

Well how could it be if April 17 is not yet here? Even then we have to wait till May or June for a ruling.

I'm sorry I seem to be confused. So April 17th is a hearing for the stay correct? Meaning we could hear a ruling on the stay soon after.
Then the appeal on the lawsuit will be given by June or July. Am I right? I appreciate the input

Ok, 2 years ago was the original DACA that most people on here are enjoying. As expected, Republicans were not happy and sued and since they hadn't found the same hard-ass judge, he didn't put an injunction on the case and when the case ran its natural course, it failed. That's what this result was.

The April 17th one is for the additional executive actions last November.
